Team Summary:
At the heart of Visa’s strategy is looking for new avenues of driving growth at a pace that ensures market leadership and achievement of our business objectives. We have amended our organizational design to align with the key pillars of our strategy more closely by setting up the Commercial and Money Movement team (CMS). This team is responsible for managing payment flows/solutions across i) commercial spend (Visa Commercial Solutions), ii) global money movement flows (Visa Direct), and iii) government/public sector undertakings (Visa Government Solutions).
In Asia Pacific, CMS Business Planning & Operations (BPO), under AP CMS Strategy, Growth and Operations team, operates as a shared Centre of Excellence (CoE) across CMS, providing scalable business management, planning and execution support across 4 main pillars: Business Management, Sales Planning & Performance, Data & AI and Sales Enablement.
The Sales Planning & Performance CoE plays a critical role in translating CMS growth ambitions into executing sales plans, targets and performance outcomes across the region.
What a Senior Manager, Sales Planning & Performance does at Visa:
The Senior Manager, Sales Planning & Performance is responsible for owning and running the regional sales planning and commercial performance engine for CMS in Asia Pacific.
This role leads and owns end‑to‑end sales planning and performance framework across CMS Business Units, including target‑setting methodology, sales coverage and operating model design, pipeline and forecast discipline, SIP performance tracking, and sales execution insights. The role partners closely with CMS Business Unit and in-market leaders, AP CMS BPO CoE, Finance, and Global CMS Sales Performance teams.
Key Responsibilities:
1) Sales Planning & Target Setting:
- Define, standardize and drive sales planning and target-setting methodologies, performance metrics, and reporting frameworks across markets and BUs, ensuring consistency, comparability and disciplined execution across the region, in alignment with CMS strategic priorities and CoE direction
- Own the annual sales planning process and drive alignment across CMS BUs and markets in Asia Pacific in partnership with CMS leadership
2) Sales Performance Management:
- Work in close partnership with the AP CMS BPO Director and Global CMS Performance teams to improve SIP governance including strengthening and enhancing SIP processes, metrics and performance transparency
- Own regional sales performance management across CMS: SIP tracking, AANR attainment and sales metrics
- Lead the evolution of Sales performance capabilities as CMS scales, including process redesign and tooling enhancement
3) Account Planning & Commercial Performance:
- Own and drive pipeline hygiene and forecast discipline across CMS in AP partnering with Sales leaders to improve quality, accuracy and consistency across the 3 BUs through structured reviews and performance insights
- Design and evolve CMS sales coverage across the region in partnership with BU and in-market leaders
- Support account planning, clients insights analysis and client prioritization to maximize growth priorities
4) Cross-functional leadership & CoE Collaboration:
- Own the end-to-end Sales Planning & Performance within the AP CMS BPO CoE
- Work in close partnership with Sales Enablement, Business Management, Data & AI BPo CoE pillars and with other teams (AP CMS Strategy, Finance, BU) to ensure alignment across planning, execution and performance

Qualifications
What you will need:
We are looking for a commercially minded, execution-focused leader with strong analytical and influencing skills. As a candidate, you should have:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in sales planning, performance management, commercial operations, finance, consulting or related roles
- Strong expertise in sales target-setting, pipeline management, forecast discipline and performance measurement
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into clear performance insights and executive narratives
- Proven ability to operate in complex, matrixed regional environment and influence senior stakeholders across functions and markets
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with experience driving discipline and change across teams
What will also help:
- Experience in payments, financial services, transaction banking or adjacent industries
- Familiarity with saes compensation frameworks, SIP mechanics and CRM tools
- Experience working with Asia Pacific markets and regional leadership teams
- Understanding of Visa’s business model, people and governance processes
