The Associate Director and Counsel, Asia Pacific will be a member of the Commercial Engines Legal, Contracts and Compliance (LCC) team, which plays a leadership role in the strategic support of Pratt & Whitney’s Commercial Engines (CE) business. With more than 13,000 large commercial engines installed today, CE provides dependable power to hundreds of airlines and operators every day.
What You Will Do:
This role provides transactional support across all aspects of the CE business but with a focus on Pratt & Whitney’s entities and joint ventures in the Asia Pacific (APAC) region. Responsibilities include drafting, negotiating and advising on complex agreements with customers, contract interpretations, handling local law issues, counterparty disputes, and advising on regulatory compliance and communications with customers, airframers, regulators, and program partners. This role also provides legal counsel and support for corporate governance, global trade (export/import), employment and data privacy matters.
