What You Will Do:
As a Tooling Technician, you will support the Mobile Repair Team (MRT) and engine repair station operations by ensuring tooling and support equipment remains safe, serviceable, and mission ready. You will inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and refurbish engine tooling, fixtures, adapters, lifting devices, gauges and other specialized support equipment used to support both field maintenance and repair station activities. You will support the complete tooling lifecycle by receiving, identifying, issuing, tracking, storing, packaging, and shipping serialized tooling while maintaining accurate records within company inventory and asset management systems. You will also support calibration activities by preparing tooling for calibration, processing returned tooling, identifying out-of-tolerance equipment, and assisting with the evaluation and disposition of nonconforming tooling.
This position works closely with Operations, Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, and the Mobile Repair Team to ensure tooling is available when and where it is needed to support customer commitments. As repair station capabilities continue to expand, this role may also support advanced tooling inspection activities, including nondestructive testing (NDT), following successful completion of required training and qualifications.
