Role Overview:
The Warehouse Assistant / Facilities Engineer - Maintenance is responsible for ensuring safe, efficient warehouse operations and policy compliance, while supporting the reliability of ISP and OSP network infrastructure. This role involves managing day-to-day facility logistics alongside executing preventative maintenance, basic troubleshooting, and equipment upkeep.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Warehouse and Logistics:
Ensure that the warehouse in Davao is kept in an orderly manner and tidies up as necessary
Track and manage inventory levels
Manage and Update the Warehouse Management System
Communicate effectively with other departments to ensure a smooth workflow, including the Warehouse team in Manila
Receiving, checking and recording incoming deliveries
Fulfill requests for materials and tools made by different teams necessary for completion of a job
Maintain a clean, organized and safe warehouse environment
Field Engineering/Maintenance:
Assist in basic ISP and OSP maintenance activities and fault restoration
Support preventive maintenance and site inspections
Maintain the cleanliness and organization of tools, equipment, service vehicles, and work areas
Complete maintenance documentation and perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor
Qualifications:
At least 1 year experience in a warehouse management role
Good communication skills
Good computer skills for data entry and inventory management (familiar with at least MS Office, Google Sheets or ERP system)
Physically fit and able to engage in heavy lifting for warehouse item
With valid driver’s license
Basic knowledge in telecommunications, electrical, or maintenance work
Willing to work on-call, shifting schedules, and emergency restoration
Willing to learn Fiber optic works
