The Boeing CompanyThe Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) F/A-18 and E/A-18G program is seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Senior Manager – F/A-18 Mission Systems Core Avionics IPT Leader to lead the F/A-18 Core Avionics engineering team from Berkeley, MO.
The F/A-18 Mission Systems Senior Engineering Manager will oversee the capture, development, production, and sustainment of F/A-18 Core Avionics equipment including: Mission Computers, Mission Processors, Communications, Stores Management Systems, Recorders, Electronic Warfare (EW), Electronic Attack (EA) and integration of various GFE avionics equipment. The role requires Boeing cross-functional leadership, tasking, ownership, and oversight of these products for the F/A-18 and E/A-18G platforms.
The candidate filling this position will work closely with US Navy, international, and DCMA customers as well as various suppliers to meet contract requirements and support fleet needs. This role will report to the Mission Systems Homeroom Director and deploy to the F/A-18 and E/A-18G Mission Systems IPT Director.
The successful candidate will be a strong leader who is passionate about technical execution, continuous improvement, people development, and have a drive for excellence.
Position Responsibilities:
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)

Typical Education/Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), computer science, engineering data science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience or non-US equivalent qualifications. In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
