GeoStabilization International (GSI) is seeking a Fleet Services Operations Specialist to support fleet readiness at the Kentucky Yard. This role involves receiving, inspecting, cleaning, and preparing trucks and equipment for redeployment. The specialist will coordinate with logistics, mechanics, and fleet professionals, operate forklifts and other heavy equipment, maintain documentation using B2W, Excel, and Outlook, and assist with light maintenance. This position requires a high school diploma, basic computer proficiency, 40 WPM typing speed, the ability to lift 100 pounds, and comfort working outdoors in various conditions.

JOB SUMMARY
The Fleet Services Operations Specialist supports the operational readiness of fleet assets at the Kentucky Yard. This role is responsible for receiving, inspecting, cleaning, and preparing trucks and equipment for redeployment. Working in rugged outdoor conditions, the specialist coordinates with logistics personnel, mechanics, and fleet professionals to ensure timely turnaround and job-readiness of all fleet assets.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
• Receive and document returned vehicles and equipment; conduct thorough inspections and coordinate findings with Fleet and Equipment teams.
• Operate forklifts, telehandlers, and skid steers to move equipment safely and efficiently throughout the yard. • Clean and prepare trucks and equipment to meet job-readiness standards prior to redeployment.
• Verify and update documentation including registrations and maintenance records using B2W, Excel, and Outlook. • Assist mechanics with light maintenance tasks and preventive repairs to support overall fleet uptime.
• Communicate equipment readiness status and issues clearly to relevant teams and supervisors.
• Participate in daily yard operations and contribute to a collaborative, safety-focused work environment.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and work order systems.
• Typing speed of at least 40 WPM.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 100 pounds.
• Willingness and ability to operate heavy material handling equipment.
• Strong time management and task follow-through in a fast-paced outdoor environment.
• Ability to work independently and outdoors in varying weather conditions.

• Ability to quickly learn new systems, tools, and operational workflows.
• Self-motivated, disciplined, and dependable with minimal supervision.
• Understanding of how equipment readiness and fleet operations support field execution.

PHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS
• Ability to stand, walk, squat, kneel, and maneuver on varied outdoor terrain throughout the shift.
• Must lift and carry up to 100 pounds occasionally.
• Must possess sufficient vision, hearing, and manual dexterity to safely operate tools, equipment, and vehicles.
• Work performed primarily outdoors in varying weather conditions year-round.
• Moderate to high noise levels typical of yard and equipment operations; hearing protection may be required.
