Fastly is seeking a Commercial Legal Director to lead Commercial Legal for its growing APJ business. This foundational role will be the initial in-region legal presence for the APJ business, acting as a trusted partner to APJ leadership, exercising independent judgment across a range of legal matters, and guiding the regional legal support infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong law firm training, extensive experience supporting in-house APJ enterprise sales and channel teams, and experience with legal issues relevant to CDN, Security, or other B2B SaaS models.

Legal Director, Commercial
The Fastly Legal team is looking for a Commercial Legal leader, deal lawyer and lifelong learner to join our dynamic team as our first in-region attorney leading Commercial Legal for our growing APJ business. This foundational Legal hire will be the initial in-region legal presence for our APJ business, acting as a trusted partner to APJ leadership, exercising independent judgment across a range of legal matters, helping guide the regional legal support infrastructure and acting as a bridge between a fast-moving, expanding APJ business and global Legal and cross-functional leadership.
We are seeking a capable leader and trusted advisor who solves problems practically, thinks creatively and thrives in a fast paced, growth environment. Ideal candidates have strong foundational law firm training, extensive experience supporting in-house APJ enterprise sales and channel teams, experience with legal issues relevant to CDN, Security or other B2B SaaS models, and an interest in helping build our regional legal presence and taking on additional responsibilities.

Fastly currently embraces a largely hybrid model for most roles which allows employees flexibility to split their time between the office and home.
