About the Role
We are looking for a candidate who can deliver high‑quality, consistent HR operational support to employees and managers by acting as the first point of contact for HR inquiries and HR WD transactions.Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant processing of employee lifecycle events within Workday and payroll‑related processes. Maintain strong data integrity across HR systems through proactive monitoring, validation, and issue resolution.
Improve employee experience by providing clear guidance, self‑service enablement, and up‑to‑date HR knowledge content. Support continuous improvement of HR processes through issue trend analysis, automation initiatives, and collaboration with HRIS and policy teams.
The role also ensures high‑quality HR reporting and analytics by maintaining data integrity across HR systems, supporting dashboards and stakeholder insights, and driving efficiency and accuracy through proactive use of automation and AI in collaboration with HRIS.
The incumbent also contributes to audit readiness, budgeting and workforce planning processes, and strengthens overall HR team capability through structured knowledge‑sharing and cross‑functional dependency awareness.
The role will also be the Business Continuity Backup for the Payroll Manager in the absence of the Payroll Manager.
HR Case Management & Employee Support
- Manage day‑to‑day HR inquiries from employees and managers through the HR case management system and external HR mailbox.
- Provide guidance on standard HR policies, procedures, employee movements, resignations, terminations, and general HR work rules. This includes handling employee grievances and complaints logged as Case, ensuring proper documentation, follow‑up, and timely closure; escalate sensitive or complex cases to HRBP or Functional Expert where appropriate.
- Prepare and issue reference letters and other standard employee documentation upon request.
Employee Lifecycle & Transaction Processing
- Support employee movement activities including hires, job changes, internal transfers, resignations, and terminations.
- Monitor and follow up on payroll‑related aging items such as job changes, terminations, and expiring contracts to ensure timely processing before Payroll integration is cut off.
- Perform OCR validation and other periodic checks to support payroll and downstream accuracy.
Workday Data Management & HRIS Support
- Provide Level 1 Workday support to HR teams, including basic troubleshooting and user guidance.
- Perform Workday data maintenance activities, including event corrections, cancellations, organizational structure updates, and role assignments.
- Execute mass data uploads using Workday EIB where access is granted.
- Raise and track Workday incidents, service requests, and change requests through SNOW and other HRIT channels.
- Support custom report requests and scheduled HR data reporting as required by HRBP/stakeholders.
Data Quality & Knowledge Management
- Monitor data quality dashboards and follow up on identified issues to ensure accuracy and completeness of HR data.
- Track recurring data or process issues and work with HRIS and process owners to resolve root causes.
- Update and maintain HR knowledge articles, FAQs, guidance notes, and process documentation.
- Identify recurring employee questions or pain points and proactively update knowledge content accordingly in collaboration with Functional Experts.
Support HR Reporting and Analytics
- Support HR Reporting & Analytics requirements (including HR dashboard) of various stakeholders (HRBP, People Managers, etc), including but not limited to maintaining accurate employee master data in HR systems and ensure timely updates on transactions affecting payroll and reporting.
- Drive HR Analytics and Reporting accuracy and efficiency through proactive AI use case and change management where there is gap identified, in collaboration with HRIS team.
HR Process Improvements
- Drive cross-functional (across employee life-cycle process from hire to retire) process improvements to improve HR transactions processing time.
- Support internal/external HR audits where applicable.
- Support HR and Company-wide budgeting process in terms of provisions of data for budget estimation and simulation purposes.
- Support HR Team competency uplift through quarterly knowledge-sharing (subject matter, dependencies upstream/downstream).
- Support other HR functional projects and tasks where required.
Job Requirements:
- Education – Bachelor's Degree in any field (Human Resources Preferred)
- Experience – minimum 8-10 years of experience in HR Transactions, Payroll and Benefits Administration
- Special skills – experience with Workday and/or payroll migration would be advantageous (experience with Workday is a must). Experience in compensation and benefits would be a plus.
- Technology – experience with Workday and Success Factor would be preferred.
