Responsibilities

  • BOH team members tasks include sauté, fry station, biscuit build, point, prep, dishwasher, and biscuit maker.
  • Execute food preparation tasks following established recipes and guidelines.
  • Ensure accurate portion control, maintain consistency in food quality, mitigate waste.
  • Operate cooking equipment with precision and attention to detail.
  • Prepare and assemble orders according to Vicious Biscuit's standards and presentation guidelines.
  • Monitor food temperatures and ensure that all food is cooked to perfection.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace.
  • Properly store and label food items to minimize waste and ensure freshness.
  • Assist in inventory management by keeping track of stock levels and notifying the management team of any shortages.
  • Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a hygienic kitchen environment.
  • Follow proper procedures for handling and disposing of kitchen waste.
  • Report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to the management team.
  • Work collaboratively with fellow team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
  • Communicate effectively with the front-of-house staff to coordinate order timings and maintain a seamless flow of service.
  • Embrace a positive and inclusive role within the Vicious Biscuit culture, actively engaging in teamwork, expressing enthusiasm for personal growth and development, and steadfastly upholding a commitment to excellence.
  • Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and food safety standards is a plus.
  • Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds.
  • Food safety and alcohol certifications, or willingness and ability to obtain them within 30 days of employment.
  • Eligible to work in the United States.
  • Available to work weekends.
  • Available to work opening shifts starting at 6am.
  • Available to work 3-4 days per week is a plus.
