BJAK is seeking Backend Software Engineers to build the core systems for their finance super app. This role involves creating reliable APIs, workflows, and financial product infrastructure to support millions of users across various financial services like insurance, payments, and investing. You will design and improve scalable systems, integrate with partners, and ensure security and reliability. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of backend experience, strong system design fundamentals, and experience with scalable services. Fintech experience is a plus.

We are looking for backend engineers to build the core systems behind BJAK's finance super app.
This role is for engineers who can build reliable APIs, workflows and financial product infrastructure that can scale across markets, partners and millions of users.
3+ years of backend engineering experience.
This role is remote, but candidates must be based in Germany. We are hiring specifically for this market, so applicants should already be based in Germany.
English is our main working language across global teams. Strong English communication is required.
