Your role

About you

  • Minimum year of experience in heavy civils Concrete structures – 15+ Years
  • Design and FEA Analysis of Buildings, Tunnels, pipes support structures for the plant design
  • Design of Seismic Qualification of machinery support structures.
  • Experience in any of the software like ABAQUS/ANSYS/Robot etc.
  • High level technical report writing skill and report review
  • International code - IS, ACI, AISC, ASCE, Eurocodes and CSA
  • Report writing skills are highly preferred.
  • Experience in projects related to Industrial Plant/Power Plant/Oil & Gas.
  • Specialized in Dynamic & Seismic analysis of structures with soil structures interaction.
  • You will also be expected to demonstrate the following qualities:
  • Preferably Chartered Engineer or progressing towards their Chartership
  • Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Commercial awareness.
  • Team working, being comfortable working in international teams.
  • A sound understanding of structural analysis methods and structural/building design including applicable codes and standards.
  • Able to identify the key issues/information associate with a task.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ensure projects are delivered to Atkins internal quality standards and processes and industry standards within cost schedule and quality constraints.
  • Gather and maintain all criteria to ensure that the work meets all requirements.
