This hands-on engineering role requires strong expertise in machine design, automation technologies, robotics, packaging systems, and process development, along with the ability to manage vendors, lead cross-functional projects, and drive equipment performance in a regulated manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate brings 6+ years of machine design experience, strong problem-solving and project leadership skills, and a proven ability to deliver scalable automation solutions while supporting technology transfers, validation activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.Position Overview:

As a Sr. Automation Engineer in the Global Equipment Engineering Group, the candidate will support both current manufacturing operations as well as new product development by providing expertise related to the continuous improvement efforts for existing manufacturing processes/equipment. The candidate will also work with internal customers and external vendors to specify, procure, and install new manufacturing lines and equipment in accordance with business needs. The candidate will work in a collaborative team environment with manufacturing, manufacturing engineering, metrology, quality and component supplier engineering. Responsibilities include working with cross-functional teams and / or strategic partners and providing technical guidance to support project execution. This role is suitable for an energetic problem solver who has solid technical, organizational and communication skills.

Compensation & Benefits: For U.S.-based positions only, the annual base salary range for this role is $105,700.00 - $158,500.00 This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation.
