Deutsche Bank is seeking a Financial Risk Lead for its Trust and Securities Services (TSS) division in London. This role involves driving the financial risk agenda, focusing on credit, settlement, and liquidity risks within Custody and Clearing businesses. In this role, you will own and drive the financial risk agenda across the entire Trust & Securities Services (TSS) franchise, with a particular focus on shaping the future of risk management in our Custody and Clearing businesses. You will be at the centre of some of the most complex, high‑value transaction flows, acting as the senior authority on credit, settlement and liquidity risks and influencing decisions that directly impact Deutsche Bank’s global clients and balance sheet.
You’ll bring insight, judgement and innovation to how we monitor and mitigate risk in real time—translating client structures, settlement mechanics and legal frameworks into smarter limits, stronger controls and more dynamic risk analytics. You’ll also play a key leadership role in elevating our risk capability, mentoring talent and partnering with senior stakeholders across Sales, RTM, Operations, Legal, Treasury and Credit to deliver commercially sharp, well‑governed outcomes. This is a high‑visibility, high‑impact role with the scope to shape how financial risk is managed across a global, growing franchise.
