Precision for Medicine is seeking a Drug Safety Specialist II for a remote West Coast position. Responsibilities include developing safety management plans, managing serious adverse event (SAE) cases from intake to reporting, and providing safety expertise. The role involves interfacing with sponsors and internal teams, assessing safety databases, performing case processing (including narrative writing), quality control of reports, and preparing training materials. A BA/BS degree and a minimum of 2 years of safety experience are required, along with hands-on experience with global safety databases, SAE case processing, MedDRA, WHODrug, and knowledge of FDA/ICH/global safety regulations.
Position Summary:
Responsibilities will include, but may not be limited to; safety management plan development, serious adverse event (SAE, SUSARS) case management from intake to regulatory reporting, and providing safety expertise in a timely manner upon request from team members, clients, and study site personnel.
