Role

We are looking for a Software Development Engineer to join our team. This is an on-site (San Jose, CA) role, reporting to the Director, Software Development Engineering in the Zero Trust Exchange - ZIA Dev Ops/CI/CD/Infra department. In this role, you will be responsible for developing various full-stack tools to enhance engineering productivity while contributing to improved, high-quality documentation and self-serve materials.

What We’re Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)

  • Demonstrated curiosity and active exploration of AI tools, with a proven history of integrating new technologies to enhance daily workflows and augment problem-solving
  • Strong Go and/or Python programming skills
  • Hands-on experience with database tools like PostgreSQL and SQL
  • Foundational knowledge of public cloud platforms or Kubernetes
  • Experience developing frontends using the React framework or JavaScript
  • Internship or 2+ months of experience with a M.S. in Computer Science or related field

What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

  • Experience building or integrating AI-forward features, automated agents, or LLM APIs to optimize internal developer workflows
  • Prior professional experience with full-stack software development

The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations and could be higher or lower based on a multitude of factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

The base salary range listed for this full-time position excludes commission/ bonus/ equity (if applicable) + benefits.
