Citigroup Japan is recruiting for the 2027 Summer Internship Program in the Markets division, to be held at Boston Career Forum 2026. The program is scheduled from June to August 2027 and will take place at the Citigroup Tokyo Office. 市場部門は、日々刻々と変化する世界の市場経済の中で、お客様である国内外の機関投資家のニーズに応えるため、多様な金融商品を提供しています。具体的な取扱商品には、国債、社債、株式等のマーケットで標準化された商品に加え、お客様のニーズに応じて個別に組成する仕組債、デリバティブズ等があります。この他、ストラクチャード・ファイナンス、コモディティ、さらには為替、エクイティ、金利等の複数の金融商品を組み合わせたハイブリッド商品もご提供しています。

Recruiting Division: Markets
Eligible Applicants:
Overseas university students scheduled to graduate between October 2027 and September 2028, as well as domestic university students participating in exchange programs (as of November 2026)
Application Deadline:
1st deadline: July 22
2nd deadline: August 13
3rd deadline: September 18
4th deadline: October 2
5th deadline: October 28
*After completing your entry, you will receive an invitation to take a web-based test within 10 business days.
Information regarding the next steps of the selection process will be provided sequentially to candidates who have completed the web-based test.

The Markets Department provides a diverse range of financial products to meet the needs of institutional investors, both domestic and international, in a global market economy that is constantly changing. Specific products handled include standardized market products such as government bonds, corporate bonds, and equities, as well as structured notes and derivatives individually tailored to client needs. Additionally, we offer structured finance, commodities, and hybrid products that combine multiple financial instruments such as foreign exchange, equities, and interest rates.
