We are inviting applications and expressions of interest from experienced engineers to join our growing NZ Pacific Energy team.

Opportunities Available

• Lead Substation Engineer
• Technical Director – Substations 

Locations

Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch are preferred locations, with Hamilton and Palmerston North also considered. 

What You'll Do

• Lead the delivery of transmission and distribution projects.
• Act as a key technical interface for New Zealand clients.
• Support substation renewal, replacement and new-build projects.
• Build strong client relationships and contribute to business growth.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across New Zealand, Australia and the Philippines.
• Provide technical leadership, project direction and mentoring to engineering teams.

What You'll Bring

Lead Substation Engineer

• Approximately 12+ years' relevant experience.
• Strong transmission and distribution substation engineering experience in primary, secondary or protection systems.
• Proven client and project delivery capability.

Technical Director – Substations 

• Approximately 20+ years' relevant experience.
• Recognised technical leadership within the industry.
• Experience leading complex projects, clients and multidisciplinary teams.
