Advanced Supply Chain Group offer a complete end-to-end supply chain service, from source to shelf, covering all aspects of supply chain management, global logistics, fulfilment, and value-added services, allowing our customers to maximise the opportunities that exist in today’s technology-enabled marketplace. Using our unique intelligent supply chain model, we design innovative solutions to complex challenges, unlock new opportunities, and speed up and streamline existing processes by removing complexity from the supply chain. It all adds up to providing a service that is “Better, Faster, Cheaper” than our competitors.

Our core values drive everything we do. We believe in promoting a supportive environment for our colleagues, delivering exceptional service to our customers, contributing to the community, and working towards a more sustainable environment. If you share these values and are passionate about making a positive impact, we'd love to have you on our team.

If you love seeing people grow and get a real buzz from helping them succeed, this one’s for you. As our Site Training Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind capability and performance across the site designing and delivering training that genuinely makes a difference to the people who take part in it.

You’ll bring the operational training agenda to life through high-quality, innovative workshops, development programmes and all sorts of other training initiatives. Working across multiple teams, you’ll run assessments, deliver engaging sessions, welcome and onboard new starters, and help existing colleagues sharpen their skills and reach their potential.

It’s a hands-on, people-first role with real variety, one day you’re assessing drivers and giving feedback, the next you’re refining SOPs, updating the training matrix or feeding into the site’s continuous improvement plan. If you’re enthusiastic, self-driven and love making things better, you’ll thrive here.

•    Delivering professional training and handling the training administration across the site

•    Running candidate assessments, giving feedback to drivers and managers on progress, and recording clear judgements based on the competency, knowledge and skills you observe

•    Keeping us compliant by keeping the Site Matrix (training records) up to date

•    Creating, updating and regularly reviewing SSOWs and SOPs so they stay fit for purpose

•    Being a key player in the site’s continuous improvement plan, and helping shape new and enhanced training metrics

•    Working closely with stakeholders, managers, learners and subject-matter experts to make sure every bit of training and material hits the mark

•    Planning, scheduling and communicating all appointments and assessment activity, keeping productivity high and delivering real value for money

•    Being the site’s First Aider trainer, working alongside Health & Safety to train first aiders as the site needs them

Your qualifications & experience

•    A training qualification (PTLLS, AET) and/or an assessor qualification (A1, Assessor Award)

•    Experience developing training programmes and delivering qualifications (e.g. NVQs, Apprenticeships)

•    3PL experience and a practical working knowledge of SOPs

Your toolkit

•    Advanced Microsoft Office skills, plus experience using project-management Microsoft programmes

•    Organised and accurate, even when things get busy

•    Excellent communication skills — you can hold your own with people at every level, professionally and warmly

•    Confident making decisions and using your own initiative, with a flair for creative problem-solving

The kind of person you are

•    Enthusiastic, self-driven and genuinely people- and team-focused

•    Someone who role-models our values and stays focused on hitting KPIs

•    Innovative in your approach, adaptable, and positive when priorities change quickly

•    A reliable, excellent timekeeper others can count on
