Transit Operator – Owen Sound Transit

Fulltime/Part Time – Operated by Voyago, a Transdev Company

Voyago is hiring Transit Operators for Owen Sound Transit’s conventional service. Operators provide safe, reliable transportation and excellent customer service to riders across the community.

Responsibilities

•     Safely operate a conventional transit bus on assigned routes

•     Provide friendly, helpful customer service

•     Complete pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections

•     Follow all safety procedures, traffic laws, and company policies

Qualifications

•     Valid Ontario driver’s licence with a clean record

•     Ability to meet medical, licensing, and background requirements

•     Transit experience an asset

•     Strong communication and customer service skills

Hours

•     Weekday shifts between 5:30 a.m.–7:30 p.m.

•      Weekend shifts 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.( Rotating) 

Compensation

•     Starting wage: $21.25/hour
