Job Responsibilities
System Troubleshooting & Operations Support
- Lead and supervise technicians in diagnosing and resolving CCMS system issues (software, hardware, integration).
- Provide direct technical support to operations team for real-time incidents and system abnormalities.
- Ensure timely closure of system faults with proper root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Establish structured troubleshooting workflows and response protocols.
System Optimization & Enhancement (CCMS / Niagara)
- Improve system navigation, graphics, and user interface for better operational usability.
- Enhance alarm strategy, including rationalization, prioritization, and elimination of nuisance alarms.
- Strengthen system robustness through improved logic, sequencing, and system safeguards.
- Develop and implement advanced Fault Detection & Diagnostics (FDD) capabilities.
- Identify improvement opportunities to increase system stability, response speed, and data accuracy.
Technology Evaluation & Implementation
- Propose, evaluate, and test new devices, sensors, and smart technologies for CCMS integration.
- Lead proof-of-concept (POC) testing and validation before deployment.
- Work with vendors and internal stakeholders to integrate new solutions into existing infrastructure.
- Support digital transformation initiatives including AI-driven analytics and system intelligence.
Documentation & Reporting
- Improve and standardize system documentation (architecture, control logic, point lists, workflows).
- Ensure all troubleshooting, modifications, and enhancements are properly documented.
- Develop structured reporting dashboards for system performance, alarms, and issues tracking.
- Maintain system logs, technical records, and configuration backups.
Project Management
- Plan and execute CCMS-related projects (enhancements, upgrades, expansions).
- Define scope, deliverables, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate with stakeholders (operations, vendors, contractors) to ensure smooth execution.
- Monitor project progress, risks, and ensure timely completion within quality and budget targets.
Team Leadership & Training
- Supervise and guide technicians in daily operations and system troubleshooting.
- Conduct structured training programs to uplift technical competencies (Niagara, HVAC integration, controls logic).
- Establish SOPs and best practices for CCMS operation and maintenance.
- Drive accountability, performance standards, and continuous learning within the team.
Job Requirements
Education & Certification
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications in building automation or controls preferred.
Experience
- Minimum 6–8 years of experience in BMS / CCMS / building automation systems.
- Strong knowledge of Niagara Framework and building control systems.
- Good understanding of HVAC systems, controls logic, and integration.
- Experience in alarm management, FDD, and system analytics is preferred.
- Familiar with protocols such as BACnet, Modbus, and system networking.
- Experience in project coordination and system implementation.

- Possess good communication, interpersonal and supervisory skills, with an eye for detail.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Be able to work with minimum supervision and at times independently, as well as under pressure.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects.
