What you’ll do
Become part of an iconic brand that is set to revolutionize the electric pick-up truck & rugged SUV marketplace by achieving the following:
- Ensure comprehensive documentation of technical data related to body shop. Monitor deadlines, milestones, and budget for press parts and ladder frame, initiating escalation in case of overruns or issues. Collaborate with finance teams to assess financial implications and ensure cost effective launch strategies. Facilitate knowledge transfer sessions to ensure a comprehensive understanding of press and frame processes. Prepare financial reports, forecasts, and presentations for review and decision making. Develop and maintain a detailed timeline for press and frame components, ensuring alignment with overall project schedules. Establish a start-up organization for body shop, selecting key personnel and managing early-phase activities. Implement effective communication channels within the start-up organization for streamlined coordination. Collaborate with IT teams to implement technology-driven solutions for enhanced launch management.

- The responsibilities of this role require 4-5 days attendance in office with in-person meetings and events regularly.
- Applicants should expect that the role will require the ability to convene with Scout colleagues in person and travel to participate in events on behalf of the company from time to time.

- Master’s degree in Engineering (any), Business, or related field of study and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation in which the required experience was gained. In lieu of a Master’s degree in Engineering (any), Business, or related field of study and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation in which the required experience was gained, employer will also accept a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (any), Business, or related field of study and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation in which the required experience was gained. Must also have demonstrated experience in the following: Lean Manufacturing; Visual systems; Project Management; Ergonomic evaluations; Quality circles; Engineering drafting; and Modeling software.
