Join Internal Medicine as a Medical Assistant (MA) Apprentice!  The MA Apprentice Program is a tuition-free, earn-as-you-learn career opportunity designed to equip you with the skills needed to obtain your Washington State MA-C credential.  Approved by the Washington State Department of Health, this program offers hands-on training, classroom instruction/online modules, and a pathway to a rewarding healthcare career. 

Program Details:

• Non-negotiable Pay: $19.35/hour, increasing to $20.47/hour for final 1,000 hours of on-the-job training
• Bonus: $1,500 total bonus paid in three installments (payment subject to service term)
• Full-time employment with benefits during training.
• Must have excellent attendance! Consistent, dependable, and predictable attendance is crucial in helping us fulfill our mission of providing high-quality, compassionate care. We require our employees to adhere to our attendance standards, as frequent deviations make it difficult to provide care for our patients and support our coworkers.

::: Personal Statement (350 words max): Explain why you feel you will be successful in the program, share your goals, and how you’ll overcome any challenges.

::: Impact Statement (350 words max): Explain how you’ll balance online learning modules, skills-lab, and 2,000 hours of on-the-job training with your other responsibilities.

Pay Range:

$18.70 - $26.17
