Airbus Operations SL is seeking a Supply Chain Quality Manager for their Procurement Operations organization, specifically within the Composites & Chemicals team. The role focuses on ensuring timely and quality deliveries to Airbus and its supply base. Responsibilities include managing supplier performance, coordinating tactical activities, ensuring supplier and product qualification, managing contract execution, and implementing recovery plans. The jobholder will be collocated at a supplier plant 80% of the time, complementing or assuming the production control function, monitoring production, and reporting progress.
Job Description:
A vacancy for an job within the Procurement Operations organization (internal siglum PI) has arisen. The jobholder will be integrated within the Composites & Chemicals team (PIMC) focusing in particular in securing the present and future “on time, on quality” deliveries to Airbus and its supply base. The PIMC team is a key member of the Materials & Detail Parts (POM) organization within Procurement Operations.
RESPONSABILITIES:
The team is responsible for managing the industrial performance of a supply base of around 250 manufacturing sites of flyable and ancillary materials, all along the product lifecycle: from supplier selection (call for tender phase), through supplier approval and new product qualification, to series operation and supplier development.
