Relativity Space is seeking a Second Shift Supervisor for its Mechanisms Technician team in Long Beach, California. This role involves leading and mentoring technicians in building electromechanical assemblies for the Terran-R rocket. Responsibilities include managing daily operations, ensuring hardware is delivered on time and to spec, establishing process standards, and communicating progress and blockers to management. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience managing teams and supporting complex assemblies, with strong interpersonal and communication skills, and experience with electromechanical assemblies and test operations.

About the Team:
The Manufacturing team owns all process development, fabrication strategy, and production equipment for Terran R, our next generation, reusable rocket. This team has a wide variety of responsibilities – from factory floor layout, to developing complex tooling for novel processes, and interfacing with our vehicle engineering team to heavily influence design of the rocket. We leverage our deep expertise to translate engineering requirements into highly optimized production lines, working cross functionally to consistently enhance the vehicle program.
This will be for our Second Shift Supervisor role with the hours from 3:30 PM PST - 2:00 AM PST.
About the Role:
In this role, the Mechanism Supervisor will be responsible for leading a team of Mechanisms technicians in building electromechanical assemblies for Terran-R Vehicle and Engine production. This role is instrumental in managing daily execution of subassemblies, component testing, and hardware development.
