AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Senior Power Systems Engineer for its Electrical Systems Practice, focusing on rail, nuclear, distribution, and defence projects. The role involves undertaking distribution design work within a Rail environment, preparing design deliverables according to company and industry standards, and maintaining a strong understanding of safety and quality. The ideal candidate will have a qualification in Electrical Engineering, proven experience in power and distribution system design (especially for substations, switchgear, and transformers), and knowledge of systems integration. Experience with load flow analysis, protection scheme design, and specific engineering tools is desirable. The position requires the ability to obtain SC level security clearance.
AtkinsRéalis is looking for talented individuals to join our Electrical Systems Practice within our Complex Projects business, to help us deliver projects in rail, nuclear, distribution and defence of varying scale. The Power & Distribution design team works both on UK and international projects. We work with our clients to understand their requirements and produce design solutions covering feasibility studies, option selection, outline and detailed design, and construction support.
We are currently seeking to recruit an Engineer or Senior Engineer to become a key member of the team and have a high level of competency to deliver distribution designs.
