Position Summary
The Senior Project Manager provides leadership for large, complex mechanical construction projects from preconstruction through final turnover. This individual is responsible for delivering projects safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while building strong relationships with owners, general contractors, design teams, and project stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
· Lead mechanical construction projects from preconstruction through commissioning, owner turnover, and project closeout.
· Serve as KSW's primary project leader, building trusted relationships with owners, general contractors, architects, engineers, and project partners.
· Lead preconstruction planning, budgeting, constructability reviews, scheduling, procurement strategy, staffing, and execution planning.
· Drive project performance across safety, quality, schedule, client satisfaction, and financial objectives.
· Manage project financials including budgets, forecasting, cost controls, billing, change management, and profitability.
· Coordinate with estimating, operations, BIM/VDC, procurement, field leadership, commissioning teams, and trade partners to ensure successful project execution.
· Identify project risks early and develop proactive solutions to maintain schedule certainty and project success.
· Support procurement and coordination of long-lead mechanical equipment and critical project milestones.
· Lead project teams through startup, commissioning, phased turnover, and final owner acceptance.
· Mentor Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, Project Engineers, and other team members while helping develop KSW's future leaders.
· Champion a culture of safety, accountability, collaboration, and operational excellence across every project.
Qualifications
· 10+ years of project management experience within mechanical construction.
· Strong experience managing HVAC, plumbing, piping, or process mechanical projects.
· Experience delivering commercial, industrial, mission critical, semiconductor, advanced manufacturing, or data center projects.
· Data center experience is highly preferred; semiconductor or other critical environment experience is considered a strong alternative.
· Demonstrated success leading projects from preconstruction through commissioning and owner turnover.
· Strong understanding of project financial management, contracts, scheduling, procurement, change management, and risk mitigation.
· Experience leading cross-functional teams and mentoring project personnel.
· Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and construction management software.
· Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
· OSHA 30, PMP, CCM, or equivalent certifications are a plus.
