Schaeffler is seeking a Laboratory Test Engineer in Ostrava, CZ. This role involves planning, coordinating, and executing product tests according to technical specifications, including electrical and physical measurements. Responsibilities also include test report creation, maintenance of equipment, and communication with project teams and external partners. The ideal candidate will have a background in electronics or automation, experience with testing and measurement, advanced MS Office skills, and communicative English and Czech/Slovak. • Responsibility for coordination, planning and measurements on products according to the specified technical
specification (DV, PV, requalification...)
• Planning, management and calculations of test time requirements
• Performing measurements of electrical and physical quantities
• Preparatory work - e.g. assembly of sensors in fixtures, preparation of tests, marking of sensors, photography, data storage/processing…
• Evaluation of measurements
• Responsible for the creation of test reports
• Creation/responsibility for maintenance plan, working instructions for machines and equipment
• Communication with the project team, external laboratories, suppliers
• Secondary/university education (preferred field of electronics, automation, control systems...)
• Knowledge of electrical and physical quantities
• Experience with testing and measurement is an advantage
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel)
• Knowledge of SAP is very welcome
• English level B1, Czech/ Slovak communicative
• Ability and willingness to learn
• Communication skills
• Ability to accept changes, flexibility
