Security Leader

To protect our people and business, we’re looking for a qualified and technically proficient Security Leader to oversee security at Jonsson Manufacturing Lesotho (JML). You’ll lead operations across multiple sites, ensuring the safety of our facilities, employees and assets.

Your key responsibilities will include:                                                                                                    

• Personally manage all security-related tasks at Jonsson Manufacturing Lesotho (JML).
• Lead and supervise outsourced security personnel across all JML sites, ensuring compliance with Service Level Agreements.
• Collaborate with factory leaders to address security challenges and implement effective solutions.
• Develop, implement, and maintain security policies and procedures to mitigate risks.
• Oversee all physical security measures and ensure their effectiveness.
• Launch and drive new security initiatives that are cost-effective and maintain high standards.
• Manage security-related finances including invoicing, purchase orders, and additional expenditures.

Skills and qualifications required:

• Qualification in Security Management or related field
• Relevant Private Security Industry Regulatory Authority (PSiRA) certification and current registration (mandatory)
• Military or police background preferred, with in-depth knowledge of Lesotho legislation
• Proven experience in security management, law enforcement or military roles
• Proficiency in security management software, surveillance systems and Microsoft Office
• Strong understanding of security principles, with expertise in crisis management
• Leadership experience with excellent team management skills
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to make swift, sound decisions
• Ability to proactively take charge in every situation
• Professionalism and integrity when handling sensitive security information
• Flexibility and commitment needed to respond to security incidents with urgency
