Job Title: IT Risk, Regulatory & Control Lead - VP
Location: Mumbai, India
Role Description
- The VP role for IT Risk, Audit Management and Implementation lead is responsible to manage all the IT regulatory audits for the India regulator - RBI (Reserve Bank of India), SEBI, NSE, BSE and all internal audits. This role will be the single point of contact between audit agencies (external/internal) and all functional Technology teams.
- The role is expected to manage Risk for IT India, through monitoring, assessing, measuring and managing risk remediation in line with appropriate Risk tolerance levels.
- This role is responsible to manage service continuity for India IT infrastructure and applications.
- Additionally, this role will cover development of regulatory governance framework for APAC and ensure global consistency. It will include development and production of reports and regional heat maps based on regulatory activities, correlation with global heat maps and production of regulatory intelligence reporting aligned with global reporting.

Your key responsibilities
Regulatory & Audit Management
- Enhancement and rollout of regulatory governance framework regionally and globally.
- Participate and represent Country Technology Management in regulatory control groups.
- Review regulatory communications and determine compliance requirements.
- Develop reports and regional heat maps.
- Manage regulatory engagements and escalation of risks.
- Manage regulatory requirements for vendor outsourcing.
- Coordinate across Technology, Data and Innovation Division (TDI).
- Build business cases and projects for regulatory requirements.
- Streamline data collection and quality checks.
- Perform quality reviews of regulatory responses.
- Maintain centralized repository of requests and remediation.
- Manage stakeholder and regulator relationships.
- Participate in local, regional and global committees.
- Develop, monitor and review KPIs and KRIs.
- Evaluate technology initiatives for regulatory applicability.
- Act as single point of contact for audit related queries.
- Coordinate audit execution.
- Review audit issues and track remediation.
Risk Management
- Monitor and measure information and operational risk through self-assessments, KRIs and ERIs.
- Undertake assessments and remediation planning.
- Ensure risk remediation aligns with risk tolerance.
- Maintain effective control environment.
- Ensure availability of Regulatory Risk & Control resources.
- Maintain stakeholder buy-in.
- Represent division in local, regional and global risk forums.
Service Continuity Management
- Act as BCM/DR coordinator for Country IT.
- Implement BCM/DR controls.
- Conduct BCM/DR testing.
APAC Support
- Responsible for APAC IT Risk Management Framework design and implementation.
- Coordinate policy drafting, implementation and monitoring.
- Maintain IT Risk Framework, controls and reporting.
- Evaluate overall technology risk and report actual, mitigated and residual risk.
Your skills and experience
- 15+ years BFSI technology experience.
- Excellent domain knowledge in financial sector technology.
- Strong understanding of IT Risk Management, controls, compliance and risk frameworks.
- Knowledge of IT infrastructure management including computing, storage, networking and operations.
- Experience managing global stakeholders and regulatory requirements.
- Strong analytical, project management and problem-solving skills.
- PMP/PRINCE, CRISC/CISM Certification preferred.
- Team player able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Education & Qualifications
- Project Management experience
- ITIL Certification, CRISC/CISM Certification
- Bachelor's Engineering Degree / Postgraduate in Science
- Information Technology background preferred
