Your Role in our Mission:
As Reward Gateway | Edenred continues to scale globally, we are expanding our Programme Delivery function to support a growing portfolio of cloud-based, high-availability SaaS products. With a significant number of engineering squads operating across regions, we are looking for a Senior TPM who thrives in complex engineering environments and can bring clarity, structure, and predictability to cross-team programme delivery.
This is a high-ownership role with significant leadership and executive stakeholder visibility.
Role overview
The Senior TPM owns the full programme lifecycle — from navigating ambiguous business problems through to defining requirements, establishing programme governance, shaping solution design, and driving execution through to production — for complex, cross-functional technical programmes, taking end-to-end responsibility for delivery quality, timelines and alignment with business objectives. This hands-on role combines technical acumen, programme ownership and executive stakeholder accountability.
About the team
This role sits within the Central Programme Delivery team, reporting directly to the Delivery Director as part of the broader Technology organisation. The Central Programme Delivery team is responsible for driving the planning, execution and governance of strategic programmes across Reward Gateway | Edenred, working closely with Engineering, Product, and cross-functional business teams to deliver outcomes at scale.
Programme Setup & Planning This shapes the programme from the ground up — encompassing standing up the operating model, establishing governance from zero and translating ambiguous business challenges into a structured, executable programme.
- Own and execute programme and delivery strategy that aligns with product roadmaps and organisational objectives.
- Own programme operating model set-up from inception: define ways of working, governance structures, RACI, escalation pathways and tooling standards to stand up programmes from zero.
- Ensure technical solutioning: working in close collaboration with architects, translate ambiguous business problems into well-defined requirements, challenge and recommend alternative technical approaches where needed, and drive engineering efforts to meet timelines.
- Own and track KPIs and OKRs; build and maintain dashboards to surface delivery progress, quality and customer impact.
Execution & Delivery Delivery ownership spans large, multi-team programmes with a high degree of complexity and interdependency, maintaining momentum and accountability across engineering, product and business functions simultaneously.
- Lead end-to-end delivery for large, cross-team and cross-organisation programmes (internal and customer-facing) and be accountable for outcomes.
- Work closely with engineering, product and agile delivery teams and drive improvements in predictability and throughput.
- Own dependency management: identify upstream/downstream dependencies, remove blockers, and enforce delivery agreements across teams.
- Drive prioritisation and trade-off discussions across operations, product, engineering and customers; ensure decisions are made in a timely manner to meet programme and time-to-market goals.
- Drive decision velocity across the programme — identify and escalate decisions that are at risk of stalling, ensure the right people are engaged at the right time, and maintain a decision log to track outcomes and accountability.
- Lead programmes delivering large-scale distributed systems (microservices, APIs, cloud-native designs) and collaborate with architects on resilience and scalability.
- Manage third-party and vendor integrations, ensuring contractual, security and compliance requirements are embedded in delivery plans.
Stakeholder & Governance Operating at executive level, this role owns the full stakeholder landscape — driving alignment, managing organisational change and ensuring senior leaders have the visibility and confidence to make timely decisions.
- Stakeholder ownership: own relationships with senior leadership and partner teams; drive and own decisions across multiple stakeholders and regions to ensure alignment, accountability and timely outcomes.
- Navigate complex multi-stakeholder environments, including Group-level or parent organisation relationships, balancing global standards with local delivery needs.
- Present programme status, risks and trade-offs to executive stakeholders; negotiate scope and resourcing with business, product and engineering leaders.
- Lead organisational change management for strategic programmes — including stakeholder engagement, communication planning and adoption — ensuring teams and business functions are brought along through significant platform or process transitions.
Risk & Reporting Full ownership of programme-level risk and reporting, providing executive-grade transparency on progress, blockers and trade-offs across the full programme lifecycle.
- Own risk management: identify, assess and mitigate programme risks, develop contingency plans, and escalate where necessary.
- Define, track and report programme delivery metrics and success criteria; execute regular programme reviews and retrospectives to improve delivery performance.
- Solid experience of delivering complex technical programmes or managing large-scale technical projects in product-led organisations; proven track record of owning large-scale delivery outcomes.
- Hands-on experience working directly with engineering teams and participating in architectural/technical discussions.
- Deep expertise in scaled agile methodologies and proven experience operationalising delivery practices across teams (e.g., SAFe, Scrum, Kanban, Portfolio Kanban).
- Strong dependency and risk ownership, stakeholder management and executive reporting skills.
- Comfort with data and dashboards to inform decisions and communicate programme health to stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, decision-making and leadership skills with a focus on accountability and measurable outcomes.
- Proven ability to influence and drive outcomes with senior stakeholders and engineering teams without direct line authority, navigating competing priorities and organisational complexity to maintain programme momentum.
- Demonstrated experience leading organisational change management within complex technical programmes — including stakeholder impact assessment, communication planning, change control and driving adoption of new platforms or ways of working across multiple teams.
- Experience working in regulated environments or with strict compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, PCI-DSS, SOC 2, DMA, and EU AI Act).
- Demonstrated ability to establish programme governance and operating models from scratch in ambiguous or fast-moving environments.
- Experience managing and influencing stakeholders across complex organisational structures, including group or parent entities.
- Comfortable operating with ambiguity; able to create structure and clarity in complex, fast-moving environments.
- Comfortable working across geographies and time zones.
Preferred qualifications
- Project/programme management and agile/product-related certifications; specifically desirable: PMP, Agile Project Management certification, and AWS Cloud Practitioner.
Preferred skills & tooling
- Hands-on working experience with Jira and Confluence, and familiarity with at least one programme scheduling tool such as Smartsheet or Jira Advanced Planning.
- Proven ability to create and contribute to custom AI skills and agents (e.g., using Claude Code or equivalent) to automate programme management activities such as action tracking, stakeholder communication, status reporting and RAID log management.
