Description
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize infrastructure costs across cloud and on-premise environments.
- Develop and maintain TCO, ROI, budgeting, forecasting, and financial governance models.
- Analyze workload placement strategies (cloud vs. on-premise) and provide cost optimization recommendations.
- Drive cloud cost optimization initiatives including rightsizing, waste reduction, Reserved Instances, Savings Plans, and cloud commitments.
- Calculate and benchmark infrastructure unit economics such as cost per vCPU, storage, and compute utilization.
- Support annual budgeting, forecasting, hardware refresh planning, and software licensing renewals.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Infrastructure, Finance, and Procurement teams to improve cost visibility and accountability.
- Develop dashboards and reporting for infrastructure spending, utilization, and optimization opportunities.
- Support vendor evaluations, contract reviews, RFP processes, and financial due diligence activities.
- Ensure compliance with governance, risk management, and regulatory requirements.
