Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Supplier Quality Lead to join our dynamic team in San Antonio, TX.

Leads a team of Supplier Quality professionals supporting the BDS VC25B Presidential program. Accountable for supplier quality processes, metrics, system requirements, cost avoidance/savings analysis, training, and continuous process improvement. Advises leadership, leads cross‑functional teams, and presents solutions for complex enterprise quality issues. Ensures compliance with contractual, regulatory, FAR/DFAR, AS9100 and engineering requirements. Works independently in a fast‑paced environment and collaborates across functions and levels.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a Supplier Quality team supporting program needs and “one‑Boeing” solutions.
  • Investigate complex nonconformances, recommend dispositions and standard repairs, and implement corrective/preventive actions.
  • Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems and standards such as AS9100.
  • Demonstrated skills in data analysis, metrics, root‑cause analysis and process improvement.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and cross‑functional leadership abilities.
  • Ability to work with minimal direction in a fast‑paced, regulated environment.
  • May require interaction across multiple organizations, sites, customers and industry bodies.
  • Must ensure compliance with contractual, legal and regulatory requirements during all activities.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Experience with QMS (Quality Management System)
  • 5+ years of collecting data from multiple sources, performing analysis and presenting data
  • 5+ experience do you have working in Quality, Supplier Quality or Supplier Management
  • 5+ year of experience in Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) and Corrective Action Preventive Action (CAPA)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher

Travel:

Position may require travel up to 10% of the time.
